honor mode is kicking my butt but i am DETERMINED to succeed with it. my runs so far with just my tavs listed (because aside from astarion being gloomstalker assassin i’ve been switching out the others and their classes):

1 | drow warlock, died to the owlbears at level 3 because i was not expecting two of them

2 | drow bardlock (for that extra short rest), died to dror ragzlin because i forgot to long rest and had no spell slots left for shadowheart

3 | half-elf storm sorcerer (wood elf for the stealth and extra movement), made it to the underdark! died to bernard because i missed reading a book that i thought i had read and didn’t have the dialogue option i needed. figured i could use his action against him by standing near the other dudes but wasn’t able to outheal the damage.

4 | tiefling warlock, lost to the gnolls because i went in with the intention of convincing flind to eat everyone but i never got the prompt for it and then got my shit rocked

5 | tiefling warlock (the same one lol), was trying to take out the spider matriarch’s eggs and somehow astarion’s feet broke the web (even though he was wearing the boots) and i had to trigger the fight earlier than planned and just had unfortunate attack rolls

6 | current run - brought back my half-elf storm sorcerer because he got the furthest, and i’ve only just started but let’s see if i can’t talk my way out of more fights
